Le Water Villa

I've reviewed an earlier stay at this hotel, but I decided to stay another few days there so I'll review it again. La Water Villa is a pleasant charming hotel located south of Siem Reap city centre, a few minutes walk from many of the main places of interest of central Siem Reap. The high street is located nearby, and anything else is a Tuk-Tuk away! I booked a deluxe room with balcony; The room was functional, clean, spacious, with a big bed, it's own en-suite bathroom, wardrobe and air-con. The staff were very helpful and courteous, and on arrival, the gentleman on reception took my bag to my room upstairs. Breakfast was available, and included with good options. This is a big plus as many European hotels now do not provide a "B&B" model. However the breakfast restaurant was closed one day a week if I recall. The attached restaurant is a Japanese restaurant. I didn't eat there, but with the excellent breakfast, the dinner options would be a good bet. The hotel offers many tours, as do many in Siem Reap. I booked with the hotel to do the Angkor temples tour, a dinner show, and bus tickets. Patric, the manager was extremely helpful in arranging all this for me, making my stay very seamless at the hotel. The hotel also offers transport to/from the new Siem Reap airport (around 45km away from Siem Reap). The hotel was so responsive, I booked my car only two hours before I arrive, and the drive and car were there waiting for me when I arrived. They also arranged bike rental.For Angkor temples and sights, the hotel arranged a very good local Tuk-Tuk Driver, Mr Hong, who drove me around Angkor and wider Siem Reap during my stay, and ensured I had a lot of time on tours. I would recommend both the hotel and my driver to anyone staying in Siem Reap. There are many accommodation options in Siem Reap, to suit all budgets. For me, based on service, location and stay, La Water Villa is good choice to stay in Siem Reap.

Spotlessly clean everywhere. We had a room on the top floor. It's a spacious room with the basics. Value for money! Bed; med to Hard ( good sleeps), cotton sheets. Pillows: I used the cushion pillow Noise: very quiet Air con good Bathroom: big wet room. Hot water Has wardrobe, I asked for more hangers Room was cleaned and replenished daily. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had one issue where the bathroom light stopped working, they had it fixed immediately. They organised a very reasonably priced fare from the airport to the villa ($US28). Mr Mohn was engaged to take us to Ankor Wat for the day, highly recommend him. Location is great. It's right opposite one of Siem Reaps best spas, the Lotus Spa and has very good restaurants nearby. My favourite being Soban Cafe and Guesthouse just a short walk away. The market, banks, French Quarter all walkable. Laundries nearby however if you turn right then left, they're cheaper if you go that way. The street outside is still rough, so no good for wheelchair access. Note: Stairs, no lift Highly recommend this Villa. We stayed 1 week.

Very nice hotel, well located within the city—very close to a supermarket, places to eat, and a money changer. The included breakfast is a great added value, and the room was clean and spacious.

very well located on a side road just off the main road. very friendly staff who were very helpfull. they had a small table and chairs at the reception, where you culd sit down and have drink! they were also helpful in organisingthe tours and guiding us around the city

The wifi is quite good, the room is clean, and the amenities are pretty decent.
